Hoerner Bank – a powerful partner

Did you know that our company can be traced back to before 1849? Or that the founder was in fact a notary (as a civil servant) and probate judge in Württemberg?

When the German Civil Code [BGB] came into force in 1900, our company had already been operating as an heir research firm for several decades. And since then we have completed heir research successfully for generations of judicial estate administrators, evolving as a powerful partner in this field for voluntary jurisdiction.

And nowadays our team still mostly comprises fully trained lawyers, qualified judicial officers and Württ. Notariatsassessors (legal experts qualified to act as a probate judge in estate matters in Baden-Württemberg). We consider ourselves a partner to the judiciary and wish to play our part in ensuring that unknown heirs are assisted in asserting their inheritance rights as guaranteed in the German constitution.

Thanks to our global network of correspondents, our extensive archives and data records, you can count on us to deliver targeted results – and fast.

A further benefit for you is that we usually obtain our mandate from the heirs that we find. Thus we can then handle financial settlement of the estate once the certificate of heirship has been issued, checking the judicial administrator’s final account and issuing general release. Which saves you a great deal of time!
